At this site you will not find an exact description of what a bulldog should be. You will also not hear a sermon of who the responsible producer of the Olde Bulldogge is or what breeders are correctly representing the bread. I am not concerned with that. What I am concerned with is producing a free whelping, agile, hardy and rugged bulldog that can run all day in the heat and stay outside in the cold.  A dog that has the looks to detour any unwanted intruders however, at the same time could baby set the roughest kid with no fear of harm being done to a child. A dog that will lay by your feet all day however, they can perform when the duty is required.

My dogs are laid back non hyper bulldogs. They place fear in the eyes of the people who do not know them however a gleam in the ones that do. I have been involved in breeding Indiana Olde English Bulldogges in this line for over 17 years and have not advertised or promoted them until now. As a young man I had a passion for a heavy boned, muscular bulldog. I have always admired the English bulldog but was saddened by the health issue related to the breed. I wanted to make a difference and so I started this program. I have had great dogs in the past and I am producing even better dogs now. I have looked at many web pages and traveled to many homes to see what is out there and can honestly say that my dogs look and perform as good as or better than what I have seen.

I see what people are asking for their dogs and mine are considerably cheaper. I am not in this to make money or a name for myself. I created this web page to help me on my quest to create the perfect bulldog. To let others look at what I have produced and get involved with those who have the same passion as mine. I have just recently registered my current dogs with “IOEBA” (International Olde English Bulldogge Association). I have done this so others can see my dog’s history and how they will progress from this point on. My personal opinion is registrations do not make a dog, or should not dictate the price.  I have seen many dogs with papers that I would not give 2 cents for.  I will stand by my dogs and back them 100% if there are any hip or health issues that are not related to neglect from their owners.

One last point, not lose sight of is that the modern English Bulldog suffers from so many health related problems precisely because of it's exaggerated physical type.  An Olde English Bulldogge should resemble bulldogs from pre-1900.
